while the wheels all have a clamp, the pedals are hard to keep in place, and you do not want a desk chair with wheels to drive. Either you like using a wheel, and you will buy a better one in less than a year, or you will find it is too much of a hassle, do not enjoy it, and sell it anyway. I'd advise against buying one new unless there is a huge discount that brings its price to second hand level (which happens). You should buy one if you are on a budget and/or do not know wether you want to continue playing games with one. If the g29 is in the continuity of the g25 and g27, it is a good entry level ffb wheel and pedal set. I am building a custom direct drive wheel from scratch right now, the t300 is temporary. i went MS FFB (OLD wheel) to fanatec CSR and CSR elite pedals, to a t300rs recently, when the fanatec wheel died.
